Haskell and NH Architecture play season opener

We are delighted to be back for another year of ArchiSoccer.

Hi All,

With the temperatures rising and the evenings getting longer, the taste of summer is palpable, but that also means it’s time to dust off your old soccer gear. We are delighted to be back for another year of ArchiSoccer.

It has as always been a busy off-season as we looked to improve and effect change. The big news is that we were successful securing additional ground allocation. We now have full use of Ross Straw Field for Tuesday and Thursday nights. That means we have been able to expand and we now have 48 teams participating in the league this year, with a little wriggle room for more.

We also issued a Player Survey to all our members to get feedback on what we do and how we do it. The level of response has been overwhelming and heart-warming, so thank you all for your valued contributions. There is plenty for us to ruminate on as we look to address a number of issues and we will systematically tackle those during the season. We’ll publish the full responses soon.

This year we say farewell to four teams from the league: Crosier Scott, EF Blue, Kerstin Thompson Architects and McBride Charles Ryan.

We welcome back five teams who have played in recent years: BLP, John Wardle Architects, Lyons, Techne and Woods Bagot.

And we extend a huge welcome to seven new teams; Cera Stribley Architects, March Studio, Nettletontribe, Sora Interiors, Weston Williamson, Demaine, and STH have JV'd with PTA architecture to also form a team.

It promises to be a bumper year and we are thoroughly excited. See you on the field soon.
